Our design aims to build a jet-powered aircraft that can quickly maneuver figure 8’s at a low altitude, and glide for an extended amount of time before safely landing. The biggest challenge in our design is maximizing our glide performance while keeping the aircraft agile enough to make the turns within the total time frame. Our aim is first place, and we plan on achieving this by being more effective and innovative in our approach than our competitors.
