About the Sri Lalitam Trust

The Sri Lalitam Trust aims to support Indian art, culture, and heritage through concerts, documentaries, research, workshops, and educational resources on all media.

The Trust helps artists and practitioners to preserve and propagate our unique and diverse cultural and spiritual heritage.

Through its activities and collaborations, the Sri Lalitam Trust hopes to transform lives and communities through harmony.

Trustees

Ms.S Lalitha, Chairperson (B.A Literature)

Mrs.Lalitha has over 35 years of experience working with the Central Government. She has always been interested in Indian music and dance forms and has been instrumental in supporting her daughter to take up music as a career. She brings to the Sri Lalitam Trust her experience and passion for music.


Ms.Anuradha Srinivasan, Managing Trustee, MBA

Ms.Anuradha Srinivasan has over 15+ years of experience in business development across private and social sectors. She has a keen interest in preserving heritage across art forms and public spaces. Anuradha’s project management and development skills help propel the Trust towards its objectives in a sustained manner.


Ms. Madhumitha S (Madhu Iyer), Masters (HRM)

Ms.Madhumitha S, known professionally as Madhu Iyer, is an artiste practising both classical and popular music. She has studied the theory of music and music therapy as part of her undergraduate courses as well as specialised courses. She is an alumnus of the 3 year music course at Music Academy,Chennai. Madhu Iyer has also sung in popular cinema, and created content that is contemporary yet rooted to India. Her passion is to research and document ancient and traditional music forms in India.


Mr.Chandramouli S, MS (IT)

Mr. Chandramouli S has done his masters in information technology systems from Carnegie Mellon University, and has extensive experience as a management consultant. His knowledge and skill will help utilise technology for conceptualising, implementing and communicating the activities and projects of the Trust.
