**PARK IN ANY SLS STALL THAT DOES NOT HAVE A RESERVED SIGN **
CUH will tow if a vehicle is in a reserved stall without proper identification.
Visitor Parking is for guests, vendors, temporary parking for students and to load/unload ONLY. Please do not park in the Visitors stall while you are working.
The Kaminaka Gate will be open from 6:30-8:30 am M-F. Please be sure to have your dashboard placard visible.
Directions:
From Waialae ave. (East Bound) take the left before City Mill(AutoZone) and continue onto St. Louis Heights Road until you reach Kaminaka drive on your right hand side; entrance will be on your right after passing the SLS Maintenance shop.
From Waialae ave. (West Bound) take the right after City Mill continue onto St. Louis Heights Road until you reach Kaminaka drive on your right hand side; entrance will be on your right after passing the SLS Maintenance shop.
DRIVING & PARKING ON CAMPUS/VISITORS
Driving and parking on campus are considered privileges for students who act responsibly and follow the rules that are established to insure the safety of people and property. Violators may have their driving and parking privileges revoked and consequences may be imposed. Parking on campus is a convenience, and the school is not liable for cars that are damaged or stolen, or if contents are taken from cars. For safety and security purposes, vehicles parked in Saint Louis designated stalls and on Marianist property may be searched at any time.
- Student must have a valid Saint Louis Student Parking permit (decal) affixed to left rear bumper. Please contact SLS administration to inquire about the cost.
- No loitering around parking area.
- The Second road is only accessible to lower school drop off, faculty, and staff Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 4:30 pm
- Students must ride inside a vehicle with a seat belt secured.
- A student may not return to his car once it is parked until he has completed his classes and is ready to leave the campus.
- Students must adhere to the speed limit and traffic signs on Saint Louis and Chaminade campuses.
- Students may not utilize their car horn or sound system in a manner that disturbs others including any surrounding neighbors in the vicinity.
- Security officers must be treated with courtesy and respect at all times.
- Automobile accidents on campus must be reported to campus security immediately.
- Cars parked inappropriately, in red zones, crosswalks, or other non-student designated stalls may be towed away without warning at the owner’s expense.
- Disciplinary actions for any driving or parking infraction(s) while on Saint Louis/Chaminade University Campus (Marianist Center Property) may include a fine, tow, or driving restriction(s) as deemed by the Dean of Students. Cars that are fined or towed are at the owner’s expense.
PERMISSION TO DRIVE OFF CAMPUS
Students must obtain permission from SLS Administration to drive to a school activity off campus, either during or after regular school hours. He and any passengers in the car must have permission from their parents/guardians. The permission must be registered with the Dean of Students before departure. Obtaining permission is the responsibility of the driver and passengers. The school will not assume responsibility for any liability that may occur. Seniors who have a non-instruction period, and have at least a 3.00 g.p.a. in the most recent quarter, and no serious student code of conduct infractions, may request a waiver from the Dean of Students to leave campus before the end of the school day. Students must remain on campus if there are mandatory after-school activities (i.e. detention, tutorial, homecoming, May Day, graduation practice). All students leaving campus under this privilege need to be approved before leaving the premises (passengers included).
