Hello! My name is Mrs. Spencer and I will be teaching middle school English Language Arts at Soap Lake Middle School. I am very excited for the start of the new school year and to be joining the Soap Lake School District community. I was born and raised in Las Vegas, Nevada and I graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas with my Bachelor of Science degree in Public Administration and my Master of Education degree in Curriculum and Instruction/Secondary English Education. I previously taught middle school English Language Arts and U.S. History in Nevada for five years. Last year, my husband and I moved here with our three children and have been enjoying exploring the outdoors and adjusting to the snow!

I am very excited for a fun and engaging school year and for students to have the opportunity to collaborate with one another. We will read a variety of different texts and explore many different topics. I look forward to the opportunity to get to know all of you.
