Dear families, we are loving our first year of the new Humanities Elective. Click here to see an overview of our studies.
Humanities class engages in the interdisciplinary study of the circumstances and lives of people in the past. Humanities expands our understanding of different cultures and enables us to understand ways in which they're similar and ways in which they differ, in the present and historically, delivering a broader perspective on the world in which we live.
Students will participate in persuasive written and oral communication, creative problem-solving, teamwork, decision-making, self-management, and critical analysis. They will articulate and examine complex ideas, and ways of understanding our past and anticipating our futures.
