  • 5-day turnaround: $1.25/page

  • 4-day turnaround: $1.35/page

  • 3-day turnaround: $1.45/page

  • 2-day turnaround (48-hour turnaround): $1.50/page

  • 1-day turnaround (24-hour turnaround): $2.00/page

  • Same-day turnaround (12-hour turnaround): $2.50/page

  • Connection Magic (ASAP): $3.00/page

Per line (if you have anything different than a 25-line transcript)

  • 5-day turnaround: $.05/line

  • 4-day turnaround: $.054/line

  • 3-day turnaround: $.058/line

  • 2-day turnaround (48-hour turnaround): $.06/line

  • 1-day turnaround (24-hour turnaround): $.08/line

  • Same-day turnaround (12-hour turnaround): $.10/line

  • Connection Magic (ASAP): $.12/line

​For example, if you have a 28-line transcript that you want scoped (5-Day) turnaround), take $.05/line x 28 lines = $1.40/page.

I do not count Saturday and Sunday when calculating turnaround time.

Holidays do not count when calculating turnaround time. Holidays include New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day.

​SCOPING: How I Work

I specifically work in Eclipse, specifically V.9.0.0.29.

  • I will review the transcript you send me. Large files (such as .wav files) can be sent electronically via Dropbox or SendThisFile or Google Drive. Smaller files (under 500K) can be sent via email.

  • Tell me your turnaround time and reference the rates (above) for accurate pricing.

  • Complete a Style Preferences sheet (emailed to you on request) and note any particular stylistic preferences you have. You can also send a sample transcript instead, if that's easier for you. I follow Morson’s English Guide for Court Reporters and Bad Grammar Good Punctuation by Margie Wakeman Wells.

  • I will acknowledge receipt of your job by email and will confirm the delivery date and billing rate. The turnaround time starts once I receipt your job, meaning I will confirm via email that I have all the files and will confirm the rate and delivery date. If the file(s) is sent after 11:59 p.m. Eastern time, I will timestamp it for 8:00 a.m. Eastern time the next business day.

  • I will (try to) correct any mistranslates, correct any words such as proper names or technical terms that are not in your dictionary, edit and punctuate, research or double-check the spellings of any specialized terminology or certain names and places, and insert exhibits when noted for marking, put together title pages. Sending your block files (Eclipse users) helps me to format any parentheticals, if need be. Also, I do not read steno notes.
