This month's goal seems very simple, but it is one of the identified skills of fluent technology users. To figure out new technologies, fluent users generalize and apply what they know about previously used technologies.

Let's take "share" for example. With cell phones and social media, sharing images, text, videos and comments has become common place. Almost all apps have the ability to share content now, but if you are using a new app, how do you go about figuring out how to share? Fluent users know to look for the rectangle with the up arrow, or the word "share" in some menu. They know this because they have seen it elsewhere-- in Google products, in Insta, on TikTok. They generalize and apply how to share across new tools.

This standard builds this skill for our 4-12 graders so that when they encounter new technologies, they are able to look for common features as they learn to use the tools.
