Each year, our 7th - 12th grade band and choir students have the opportunity to participate in Slinger's Solo and Ensemble.  This event generally takes place on a Saturday morning the third or fourth weekend in February. This event is not a WSMA S&E event.
Professional musicians/instructors are brought in to observe each student's prepared solo and/or ensemble performance.  They will provide constructive feedback to our students More information will be provided to students in late November/early December.  After that information is distributed, please reach your to your student's music teacher with additional questions. 

Please note, with teacher permission, students can:
-prepare one piece or multiple pieces. 
-prepare pieces on multiple instruments.
-prepare a piece on an instrument that they do not play in school band.
-prepare a choral piece even if they are not participating in choir.
