Sligo Buses

As you plan your activities around Sligo, please note that you will need to take the bus from the Grove Complex to reach the Yeats Society, among other key locations in town. 

Efficient public transportation is available, and I recommend using the ‘Bus Éireann’ app, which offers real-time bus schedules, route planning, and updates to ensure you can navigate the town easily and punctually. 

Additionally, Google Maps offers offline maps, a valuable and reliable resource for access to directions around town without the necessity of cell service or wifi access. 

IMPORTANT TIPS

• The bus to The Grove is near the Yeats building, around the corner just over the bridge (across from the Glass House). When taking the bus into town from The Grove, ask for "High Street" as the destination and get off behind Tesco, then walk to the church.

• Printed bus schedules are available and extremely helpful. Susan can highlight the necessary routes for easy reference.
