Tanisi, I am a Cree First Nation Educational Leader from the Mistawasis Nehiyawak, Treaty 6 territory. With over two decades of professional experience in the field of education, I have committed my duty to advocate for children, families, and the overall educational success of schools. I continue to enrich my passion for learning and have incremented many rewarding proficiencies as an Educational Leader. I provide strategic leadership in the development of culturally responsive learning with the alignment of provincial curriculum outcomes. I believe the essence of an Educational Leader is a rewarding profession. Whether I am teaching students to be positive, supporting staff to be the best they can be, collaborating with colleagues on improving programs for students, building respectable relationships, modeling best practices, scheduling, reporting, meeting, I would not change direction at all. I am grounded on the following principles, trust, ethics, respect, and optimism. I am a life-long learner and advocate for indigenous education and community enrichment.
