Together, the State of Iowa and the Storm Lake Community School District are offering students the opportunity to earn the Seal of Biliteracy. Students who show proficiency in English and at least one more language are eligible to earn the seal.
155 students have earned the Seal of Biliteracy in Spanish, Karen, Hmong, & Vietnamese since May of 2019. A few are pictured above on Senior Awards Night with their medals and certificates.
