Program

The three-day program includes:

41 invited from 17 countries, who will participate in conferences and workshops addressing the latest advances in tuberculosis research and public policies.
Two workshops moderated by a PAHO member, where representatives of the TB programs and representatives from the national diagnostic and research laboratories of the region will participate.
Two full days dedicated to the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of tuberculosis, with a comprehensive and updated approach.
A special session on veterinary tuberculosis, addressing its impact on animal health and the interface with human health.
A day of conferences led by international experts on research in the area of mycobacteria biology and physiology and their interaction with the host.
Three poster presentation sessions and oral presentations selected from the submitted abstracts.

Guidelines for poster-Poster presentation day

Below are the requirements for works submitted in this format:

1- Poster dimensions must be 90 cm wide by 150 cm high, in vertical orientation.

2- Here you will find the template PDF or ppt to be used for poster printing, which includes the footers identifying the XII Meeting of the Latin American Society of Tuberculosis and Other Mycobacterioses, SLAMTB 2025.

3- The poster text must be written in English, while the oral presentation of the poster may be delivered in either Spanish or English.

4- The poster must be printed on paper, canvas, or a similar material, but it may not include any additional elements such as rods, strings, or any other accessories.
