This is the poster I created for our group's podcast. I have the podcast itself on my Videos page. This is my favorite graphic I have made on Canva so far, and I'm glad I was able to incorporate SLAM's colors into it.
In this project we had to use all of the tools we had learned while starting to use others. My collage is based off things I enjoy. Before starting this project, I was very anxious about how the final product would like. Seeing the finished collage, I'm satisfied with the choices I made regarding what pictures went into it.
In this project we learned how to use the quick selection and refine edge tool. I decided to use Mirai from the anime "Kyoukai no Kanata (Beyond the Boundary)", and use the background from the movie, "5 Centimeters per Second". Another reason I decided to use these two pictures is because both animations had stunning visuals.
In this project we got to learn how to utilize other tools in Adobe Illustrator CC 2018. We demonstrated this by creating a pizza logo of our own. I struggled a bit at the beginning, but started to pick up the pace as I began to become familiar with each different tool's use.
In this project we learned how to utilize the skill of Typography. Typography is the style and or appearance of fonts or characters. I used several different fonts in this assignment, including Giddyup Std to Sans Serif. One thing I struggled with in this project is making it look good, clean, and fresh.
In this project we learned how to use the magnetic tool. First, I used the magnetic lasso, then I made a new layer. After that I applied very prominent filters to the picture, thus distorting it permanently. If you can't tell, the picture was originally a camera. It now resembles the dark abyss that awaits all of us in the end.
In this project we learned how to utilize Photoshop's eraser tool. I struggled during this project with having to start over entirely several times because of little mistakes. Thankfully, I managed to complete this project.
In this project we learned how to apply the clone stamp tool to pictures of our choosing. I had trouble in the beginning and had to look up tutorials in order to even figure out how to clone something in the first place. Among the copied squirrels you can spot a headless one, this was done on purpose. It was not an accident, unlike some people.
