Below are some of the ways in which we support young people here at Stonelaw High School
Breakfast Bar
Over the past few years our daily breakfast bar has evolved and now our young people are not only able to pick up food to fuel their learning, but through our Participatory Budget initiative ,they are also able to obtain supplies for their lessons. This includes pens, pencils, rubbers, sharpeners and rulers.
The club runs every morning from 8:15-8:45.
Thank you to all our wonderful staff who have shown their commitment and offered their time to volunteer each morning.
This is free to all young people, some items include:
Tea
Hot Chocolate
Fresh Juice
Fruit
Cereal
Breakfast Bars
Crepes and Pancakes
As well as a selection of stationery for their lessons.
Extra-Curricular Activities - Have you joined?
We have been encouraging attendance at our extensive extra-curricular offer, as well as arranging for incentives to attend. Club T-shirts are on sale. In order to be eligible you must have attended your club at least 5 times.
Please see Mr Rae for more information.
Winter Jacket Appeal
The amazing folks at the Unpaid Workforce service are offering to launder any winter jackets that we can collect and return them to us for distribution to families in need of them.
If you have any jackets that would be suitable for others to use could you please once cleaned could you please hand these into the school office.
