In Higher RMPS, pupils will study 3 units: Buddhism, Justice, and Evil and Suffering. Pupils will develop their knowledge and understanding, and learn to apply the skills to analysis and evaluation. This course helps candidates to understand society. They learn about, and from, religious beliefs, non-religious viewpoints, and personal experience. By exploring how religion, morality and philosophy can help people find meaning and purpose in life, candidates develop their understanding of human beliefs, values and behaviour. Throughout the course, there are opportunities for candidates to develop literacy, personal learning and thinking skills, and a sense of responsible citizenship. The course allows candidates to: develop an understanding and respect for different beliefs, values and viewpoints, learn how to express their values and beliefs, put their values or beliefs into action in ways which benefit others, make informed moral decisions.Â
