There are many ways to achieve your educational goals and sometimes the lesser walked path is the best one for you. The leap from school straight into university can be a daunting one. Maybe you didn't get the grades you needed for direct entry, maybe you are leaving school after S4 or S5 and don't feel ready to go solo in your learning just yet. Many colleges and universities now offer a combined approach to getting you where you need to be.
Articulation
Colleges and unis often have agreements called articulation. This lets students go from HNC and HND courses straight into year two or three of a degree.
Associate Degrees
Some colleges also offer associate degrees in partnership with universities. The first two years are studied at a college and the rest at a partner university.
