Head Teacher

Mrs McVey

Our Head Teacher is Mrs McVey. As our school leader she has responsibility for Quality Assurance of Teaching and Learning and is our Child Protection Officer. Mrs McVey leads and motivates staff to deliver high quality teaching and learning experiences across all areas of the curriculum.

Class Teacher

Miss Hastings

Miss Hastings is our full-time Primary 5–7 Class Teacher and a highly valued member of our team. In addition to her teaching role, she leads the senior school choir and directs our school shows. This year, Miss Hastings is also taking the lead on Reading within our school as we work towards achieving the Reading Schools Silver Award.

Class Teachers

Mrs Stewart

Mrs Stewart is class teacher in our Primary 1 to 4 class. She is also leading the school's move towards a Play based approach to teaching and learning this year. You will meet Mrs Stewart in our school on a Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

Mr Bruce

Mr Bruce is also class teacher in our Primary 1 to 4 class. This year he is also leading the school's bid for the Sport Scotland School Sport award. You will meet Mr Bruce in our school on a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday all day and Friday mornings.

Miss Fraser

Miss Fraser works in our school every Monday, providing non-class contact time cover for teachers across both classes. She has a strong interest in STEM and works with all pupils to support and develop their skills in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics.

Miss Woodford

Miss Woodford is in school on Mondays and Tuesdays, providing support to pupils in literacy and numeracy. She has a particular interest in road safety and oversees the Junior Road Safety Programme within the school.

Support Staff

Mrs Sherry Team Leader

Mrs Sherry is our Office Team Leader and is responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our school office. She provides valuable support to staff, pupils, and parents and is the first point of contact for any enquiries. Mrs Sherry is available in the school office from Monday to Thursday.

Mrs Marks

Mrs Marks is a member of our Support Staff. She works in both classes to help pupils with their learning. You will meet her on a Monday and Tuesday at Auldhouse.

Mrs MacDonald

Mrs MacDonald is our Janitor. She ensures that our school runs well and everybody is kept safe. Mrs MacDonald also runs the school's breakfast club from 8.15am every morning!

Mrs Wilson

Mrs Wilson is a member of our Support Staff. She works in both classes to help pupils with their learning. You will meet her on a Thursday and Friday at Auldhouse.

Cook in Charge

Mrs Borland is our Cook in Charge and an important part of our school community. She ensures that everything in the kitchen runs smoothly and that everyone is well cared for. Mrs Borland also takes great pride in preparing delicious, healthy meals for our pupils each day.
