The study of world history in high school is an opportunity to learn about the past to help us better understand the present and maybe our place in the world. It’s the window to view cultures that may be new to you, or maybe it’s a visit to a time you often wondered about — but never really understood. Most importantly, this class should act as a portal to examine the ideals that shape our ever-evolving world and the people who inhabit it.
