Mrs. Joyce Temanson

 I am beginning my 16th year as a Kindergarten teacher at Skyline Elementary.  I have been teaching for 31 years with 29 of those years in Kindergarten and 2 years in First Grade. My education background includes an Associates degree in Early Childhood Education from Barton County Community College, a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education from Emporia State University and a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Handicapped from Emporia State University.  

I am married to Bill Temanson and we have 3 sons.  Our oldest son Eli is a recent K-State graduate in animal science, our middle son Aden will be a senior at Fort Hays State, and our youngest son Isaac will be a Freshman at K-State.

I am beginning a new chapter in my life as an empty nester and I plan to travel to see my boys often for my new hobby taking in games at Fort Hays and K-State.

My passion is teaching kindergarten and watching how they grow in all aspects throughout the year.  I want all students in my classroom to feel safe, loved, and challenged.
