Welcome to the Dairy Calculator mobile application ("App") operated by Skylark Feeds PVT LTD ("we," "our," or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your personal information when you use our App.

The App uses local storage (such as AsyncStorage on your device) to:

- Remember your last used profile and feed settings

- Cache selected ingredients, intake values, and catalogue data for faster loading

- Preserve your data across sessions so that you do not have to re-enter it on every use

This data remains on your device and is not automatically shared with other apps.

2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use the information described above to:

- Provide core App functionality, including:

  - Calculating nutrient requirements based on your animal profile

  - Calculating nutrient intake from selected ingredients

  - Showing summaries such as roughage/concentrate ratios and adequacy of the ration

- Store your working data on your device so you can:

  - Return to your last used setup

  - Review previous inputs and results during the same or future sessions

- Connect to our backend services using the internet to:

  - Perform calculations

  - Retrieve feed catalogues (e.g., green forage, dry forage, concentrates)

- Improve and protect the App, including:

5. PERMISSIONS REQUIRED

The Dairy Calculator App only requests permissions necessary to operate its features, such as:

  - To communicate with our backend API, fetch feed catalogue data, and perform certain calculations on the server.

Locally stored data (such as your last-used inputs and results) remains on your device until you delete the App, clear the App's storage, or reset it from your device settings.
