Owl Moonlight
Using oil pastels, Kindergarten through 3rd grade created an Owl Moonlight scenery drawing. Some of the younger students opted to use colored pencils instead as oil pastels can be tricky. All of their drawings came out unique and beautiful.

Abstract Art
Kindergarten through 3rd grade created abstract self-portraits today. The students looked over different abstract paintings from famous artists and then discussed the elements of an abstract painting. They used lines, shapes and colors and then glued on their self-portrait and answers to a questionnaire they did earlier this week. They turned out wonderful.
