Skyfire Solar Design, LLC (“Skyfire,” “we,” “us”) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices when using the Skyfire Solar Design mobile application (“App”).

1) What we collect

We collect information you provide and device data necessary for app functionality:
Contact & Account Information:

•  Name, email, phone, service address

•  Account ID and project identifiers

Project Data:

•  Site measurements, equipment selections, design details

•  Notes, attachments, and project documentation

•  Photos and videos you capture or upload for project documentation 

Device Data & Permissions:

• Location data: Used to automatically populate site addresses and provide accurate solar positioning for your projects

• Camera access: To capture site photos and equipment documentation

• Photo library access: To save and organize project images

• Microphone access: To record voice notes and video documentation during site visits

• Device storage: To save project files and images locally 

2) How we use data

• Create permit packages, diagrams, and documents for your solar projects.

• Communicate with you and provide technical support.

• Maintain security, prevent abuse, and comply with law.
  
  

We do not sell or rent personal data. We do not use your data for third-party advertising or tracking.

3) Third-party services / SDKs

• Google Maps SDK: Processes location data to provide mapping and geocoding services

• AWS/Cloud storage: Securely stores your project data and images

• Analytics services: [if any] Help us improve app performance

4) Add Data Retention specifics 

• Project data: Retained for 7 years for business records or until you request deletion

• Photos/videos: Stored until project completion plus 2 years, or until deletion requested

• Location data: Not stored permanently, used only during active sessions

5) Storage, security, and retention

• Data is stored on secure servers with restricted access and industry-standard safeguards (e.g., encryption in transit, role-based access).

• We retain project data only as long as needed for services and recordkeeping, then delete or de-identify it. You can request deletion at any time (see §7).

6) Children

The App is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.

7) Your choices & rights

You may request to access, correct, export, or delete your data. Contact us at the address below. If you are in a region with specific privacy rights (e.g., California or EU/EEA), we will honor applicable rights and legal bases.

8) App Store Privacy

• Data Linked to You: Contact information, project data, photos, location data

• Data Not Collected: Health data, financial information, browsing history

• Tracking: We do not track users across apps or websites

9) Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. Material changes will appear at this URL with an updated “Last updated” date.
