SKHS Summer Reading Requirements

  We hope to encourage students to explore the world of reading by offering a wide range of choices.  Students are required to read one or more of the choices assigned for their respective grade level of English class, which will be assessed the first week of school. Students who are unsure about which book to select should consult with their librarian, English teacher, or reading specialist. 

** For the summer of 2023, the reading requirement and assessment will be mandatory for the entire Class of 2027 and for students enrolled in honors or AP.  For all other students, summer reading will not be assessed.
