Why ducks?
I have always thought it was difficult finding a motif to paint and also difficult relating to the motif as such.
What motif should I chose and what is my motivation?
It started when I was ”doodling” ducks during a meeting. At home I started to paint ducks in oil on a canvas and it really took of from there.
The ducks solved the problem ”what to paint?” As long the motif was decided I could go ahead and paint the ducks in whatever way I wanted.
For example I could have an idé about shape, color and content I wanted to try and then immediately go ahead and paint within the already fixed composition.
I really do not know why I choosed ducks as a motif. I am absolutely not a bird-painter.
An expert in ducks would probably have anatidaean objections to my way to depict ducks.
I paint and draw other things as well but I choose to show (almost) only ducks on this website
