Dr. Sachidananda K B is the Associate Professor and Head of the Mechanical Engineering department at the Sri Krishna Institute of Technology (SKIT) in Bengaluru. With over 15 years of teaching experience, he specializes in fields like polymer composites, dynamic mechanical analysis, and surface coating. He is actively involved in academic research, holding multiple published papers in international journals and guiding students in engineering projects.

Computer Aided Machine Drawing Lab develops students’ skills in 2D sketching, parametric constraints, 3D feature-based modelling, assembly modelling, and detailed production drawings. Students learn to apply CAD tools, dimensioning, GD&T, tolerances, fits, BOM, and engineering standards to create accurate mechanical designs and communicate manufacturing information effectively.
