The faculty has a teaching and industrial experience of more than 20 years, published several research papers on Hydrology, Environmental Science, Remote Sensing and GIS in national and international research journals. The faculty conducted and attended many workshops, national/ international conferences and presented and published research papers.

In addition to this, he has exposure in the analysis of hydrometeorological data such as rainfall, temperature, wind, humidity, water quality analysis, groundwater exploration using resistivity survey, hydrogeological method, well inventory technique, Etc.

He has analysed more than 122 years of rainfall data for Bangalore region and the same is depicted on the thematic map using GIS software. 

Besides this he also has an experience in publication industry where he worked as an editor for 5 years and edited many STM journals such as Elsevier, Springer, Nature, Royal Society of Chemistry, LWW, Etc.
