Hello SKD family!  I am super excited to be teaching 5th grade social studies and helping out PreK4 this year! This will be my third year at SKD and I'm enjoying every minute of it. I love teaching the kids and love seeing the look of amazement and wonder on their faces as they begin to think more deeply about the topics they are learning in class. Some of my favorite things about teaching are building relationships and sharing joy and humor with the kids, as well as seeing them grow as individuals as the year goes on (and as the years go by as they move up grade levels).

I hold an Art Degree from Penn State University, an Education Degree from Grand Canyon University, and a Certificate in Catholic Theology from the Augustine Institute. Ask me about my children's book, because I am also a published author! I love to learn new things and I hope to instill that same love of learning in the students so they will be lifelong learners as well. I am looking forward to a fantastic school year!
