Sophia Wingfield

Sophia Wingfield has been involved in the Drama programs in Skaneateles since middle school. Ever since she started participating in the productions, she has been passionate about acting, singing, dancing, and the performance arts. She has been in the ensemble of many shows in the past, including Les Miserables and Big Fish, but she has recently taken up some main roles in the High school shows. Her first lead role was in Little Shop of Horrors, where she played Audrey. She also was cast as Irene Roth in the 2020 spring show, Crazy for you. This year she joined the new Production Tech class because she was interested in the technical side of theatre, and she was so happy to hear about the radio show that the class was planning. She decided to take up the responsibility of documenting the process of this show for her class, to look back on when it’s all over. Sophia is excited to be playing the role of Mary Bailey in the fall radio show of It’s a Wonderful Life.
