School Lunch Program

We are pleased to announce that all students enrolled in the Skaneateles Central School District for the 2025-2026 school year are eligible to receive one free breakfast and one free lunch each school day, regardless of household income. This initiative is part Universal Free meals for all, a state program designed to provide nutritious meals to students without the need for individual applications.

However, it's still very important to complete the Free and Reduced-Price Meal Application. Even if you’re not sure you qualify, we encourage all families to apply!

School lunch programs often follow strict nutrition guidelines set by government bodies to ensure meals are balanced and provide essential nutrients. These guidelines usually include requirements for serving fruits, vegetables, whole grains, proteins, and dairy while limiting sugars, fats, and sodium. 

All Fruit and vegetables served at Skaneateles CSD are purchased from Locally grown Farms and offered to each student.
