Welcome, Scientists! My name is Ms. Xochitl López, and I am excited to be teaching 7th grade science for my seventh year at Willow Glen Middle School.
I love teaching 7th grade! This year, students will be using the McGraw Hill science workbook and online resources to complete class assignments. Topics we will cover this year are:
Unit 1: Understanding Matter
Unit 2: The Changing Earth
Unit 3: Earth's Resources
Unit 4: Interactions Within Ecosystems

ABOUT ME
I was born and raised in San José, California.
I graduated from UC Santa Cruz with a Bachelors of Arts in Chemistry.
I received my Master of Arts in Teaching and Teaching Credential from Santa Clara University.
I have previously taught in bilingual, special needs, and alternative classes in grades K-12 for four years.
For fun, I enjoy dancing, running, playing the piano, and spending time with my family.
