Ms Jahde grew up dancing in the Bay Area with numerous studios - Los Gatos Ballet, Marie Stinnet Dance Studio, Just B...Dance, Grace Dance Academy, and her high school The King's Academy. In 2017 she obtained her B.A. in Dance from Muhlenberg College with an emphasis with Dance Science. While at Muhlenberg she trained with international and nationally recognized choreographers, and focused her studies on injury prevention in dancers. Upon returning to the Bay Area, she taught multiple styles to all ages at community centers, dance studios, and private schools. In 2022 she was a part of California's first Dance Credential cohort (a brand new credential for public school educators) from CSUEB, and has since worked at Pioneer High School teaching Dance and PE. Ms Jahde hopes the PHS Dance Program to be a place where students expand upon and learn various dance techniques, aid students in becoming the next generation of artists and creators, and a source of community and connection at PHS.
