This is my 14th year teaching Science at Willow Glen Middle School. I was a substitute teacher two years prior to that in our Willow Glen elementary, middle and high schools.
I grew up in Missouri and lived in a small rural town through my school age years. For college, I ventured out (one state over) and graduated from University of Kansas with a B.A. in Biology. Rock Chalk Jayhawk! I was awarded my Masters in Educational Practices from National University in April 2013. I also have an Instructional Design and Training Development Certificate from UC Santa Cruz Extension. Preceding my teaching career, I spent 8 years in a pharmaceutics laboratory environment. Following my lab days, you could find me training employees or customers and recruiting new talent for high tech companies in the valley.
I live in Willow Glen, my children attended Willow Glen area schools and I am very proud to be a part of this wonderful community!
