Welcome! I look forward to having an amazing, fun and productive year with you. In order for all of us to benefit from the lessons of this course and succeed in our class we will need to have an open mind, a great attitude and a willingness to think and work.
I grew up in San Francisco and after graduating from high school; I pursued my higher education at San Jose State University. I graduated with honors with a double major in Social Sciences and History. Soon after I continued my education at Santa Clara University where I earned my CA Teaching Credential and Master’s degree in Education.
My goal is to use real-life connections in the classroom to make the learning experience fun, engaging, and meaningful. By showing concrete examples and connecting how academic topics relate to them, lessons are less abstract and thus students will be more engaged in their own learning.
