About Me: I am a graduate of Edwin Markham Junior High (the old name for Willow Glen Middle School) and Willow Glen High School. I taught 6th grade Core (social studies and language arts) for 16 years. Now, I teach 7th grade social studies and 6th grade speech communication.
In 2007, I was voted "Best Teacher" by the readers of the Willow Glen Resident newspaper. In 2014-2015, I was selected as "Teacher of the Year" by the faculty of Willow Glen Middle School. In December 2021, I received The Ram Award, given by a fellow educator to another educator, for helping students during distance learning. This year I am celebrating 26 years at WGMS.
