About Ms. Jones

Meet the Teacher & Director

Ms. Jones was raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, where her love for the performing arts began in elementary school and grew through active involvement in drama, jazz band, and basketball during her middle school years. She earned a BFA in Theatre Education and a teaching credential from the University of Arizona, later completing a Master’s in Education in 2020 during the challenges of the pandemic.

After returning to the Bay Area, Ms. Jones began teaching music to young children and working in after-school programs, where she discovered a deep passion for working with youth. She also taught high school English before joining the Castillero Middle School staff in 2013. With years of experience directing children and teens, Ms. Jones is dedicated to fostering creativity, confidence, and collaboration in every student who walks through the drama room doors.
