The Trumbull County Educational Service Center (TCESC) provides services, training, and staff to the district supporting students in special education classroom programs and related services programs. The Help Network on Northeast Ohio's mission is to improve lives by providing immediate comprehensive services to support and connect people with community resources. One of those resources is a yearly Respite and Summer Programs brochure to help families connect with programs, camps, and other activities their child with a disability may want to be involved to provide educational, social, emotional, or behavioral skills.

The Autism Society of Mahoning Valley was founded by local families in 1989 to support local families affected by autism. They are an affiliate of the Autism Society of America and serve Mahoning, Trumbull, and Columbiana counties. The staff works collaboratively with families, health professionals, public agencies, the media, public and private schools, and the general public to provide support and provide reliable and accurate information about autism and its related issues. They can assist with understanding school choices, therapy providers, county services, and more. Some of the programs they offer include: family outings, mom and dad's night out, familiy portraits, Camp F.R.I.E.N.D., Coffee, Tea, and Autism, and many other special programs for holidays.
The Arc of Ohio Northeast Branch focuses its efforts on three main areas that promote the welfare of persons with developmental disabilities: Public Awareness and Education; Parent Advocacy, Support, Education, Information & Referral; and Social/Recreational Programs.
