Expert Readership in Library and Information Science
Expert Readership
Reading and writing are intertwined. When writing at the graduate level, disciplinary literacy--your ability to read, understand, analyze, and use pieces of published scholarship--is a crucial step toward becoming an effective scholar and writer in your field.
LIS faculty also note that the number one and most important tip for successful graduate writing is to read and follow assignment instructions carefully, so becoming a stronger reader has many benefits!
