The list below--adapted from the SJSU Library and originally curated by business librarian Christa Bailey--provides information about databases you can use within the field of Business to find journal articles as well as public company, industry, and market information. The ABI/INFORM Collection features thousands of full-text journals, dissertations, working papers, key business and economics periodicals such as The Economist and Sloan Management Review, country-and industry-focused reports, and major news sources like the Wall Street Journal. Its international coverage gives researchers a complete picture of companies and business trends around the world. It also provides valuable historical perspective, with journals and other material dating back to the early 1900s.
This database contains monographs, major reference works, book digests, conference proceedings, case studies, investment research reports, industry reports, market research reports, country reports, company profiles, SWOT analyses, detailed author profiles and more. Indexing and abstracts for scholarly business journals back as far as 1886 are included.

Morningstar Investment Research Center
This service gives faculty, staff, and students access to daily updates on more than 30,000 mutual funds, stocks, closed end funds and exchange traded funds. It also includes Morningstar fund and stock screeners, all 3,500 fund and stock Analyst Reports, Portfolio X-Ray and 150 investment classes.
Standard & Poor's Analysts' Handbook
Provides company and industry financial ratios analyzed by Standards & Poor’s with SIC and GISC codes. Kept up to date between editions by a monthly supplement.
General news and company, industry, and other business information (mostly full text) from newspapers, newswires, magazines, trade journals in 22 languages from 118 countries.
Provides access to over one million statistics in topics like industries, consumer goods, advertising, transportation, and hospitality. Government statistics such as unemployment rates are also available along with business research, outlook reports, market research reports, and industry reports.
