Travel and Lodging

TRAVEL:

• The closest airports are Oakland (OAK) and San Francisco (SFO). BART takes 55 minutes from SFO to Downtown Berkeley. BART and AirBART take 35 minutes total from OAK. The UC Berkeley Campus is one block west of the Downtown Berkeley BART station.

LODGING:

• We have blocked some rooms at the Rose Garden Inn (mention UC, Berkeley math department room block) at a pre-tax rate of between $195-230. They will release these rooms on May 24, 2018.
• The Berkeley Visitor's Bureau also has a list of hotels.
• The Mathematical Sciences Research Institute web page has a helpful list of hotels.
• Many Berkeley hotels will give you a discount if you mention that you are coming for an event held at the university.
