One may find it useful in many instances to save search results from a search for later review. Additionally it is often a good idea to revisit recent searches to review what worked well, and what could use further refinement.
To save searches to your “saved searches” for review
- Click on the “pin” (thumbtack) “Save Query” at the top of your search results—For this to save correctly (for your future use) be sure you are logged in.
To view your saved searches
- Click on the “pin” (thumbtack) at the top part of your browser—located to the left of “My Account” and the “Sign In” links.
- Click on “Saved Searches”
- Your saved searches will be displayed
- Alternatively you may navigate to your “Search History” at the top part of your browser—located to the left of the “Favorites”, “My Account” and the “Sign In” links then to your saved searches by clicking on “Saved Searches” under the gray “My Favorites” Section below the search bar.
To unsave (remove) items from your “saved searches”
- Click on the “pin” (thumbtack) with the strikethrough it, this is located at the right of each record you wish to unsave from your favorites list.
- You may do this to multiple records in your saved searches list by ticking the selection box next to each record and then clicking on the “pin” (thumbtack) with the strikethrough it or the garbage can icon in the gray area above your list and below the search bar.
To view your recent searches from the search page when logged in
- Click on “Search History” at the top part of your browser—located to the left of the “Favorites”, “My Account” and the “Sign In” links.
To Remove items from your search history
- Click on the “delete” button (garbage can icon) at the right of each record you wish to remove from your search history list.
- You may do this to multiple records in your saved searches list by ticking the selection box next to each record and then clicking on the “delete” button (garbage can icon) in the gray area above your list and below the search bar.
