I studied mathematics at the University of Belgrade (formerly Yugoslavia, now Serbia) and University of California at Berkeley. My PhD advisor was Charles Pugh.
Before joining San José State University in 2004 I was a postdoc at the University of Illinois at Chicago (1995-96) and University of Southern California (1996-99), and a research scientist and lecturer at UC Berkeley (1999-2004, in the EECS department in the group of Shankar Sastry).
My main research interest is the geometry of dynamical systems.
