Eligibility:  you are eligible to participate in the program if you: 

• currently teach STEM in grades 9-12 

• have completed at least one year of teaching

The application and selection process: 

Application: 

To apply for the program, you need to:

• fill out the attached application form

• include a personal statement (not more than 1 page) where you describe your interest in the program and what you are trying to gain from participating in the program

• Application deadline: March 08, 2024

Selection:

• Information session will be held after the application deadline

• All applicants will go through an initial interview with the program director

• Applicants that are best suited for a research project in terms of connection to subjects that they teach and interest in a specific research project will go through an interview with a  research mentor

• Each research mentor will interview five candidates from which s/he will choose two teachers to work with over the summer

• Teachers will be free to interview with more than one lab
