Meet the 2023 SJSU Student Research team! Kalanna, David, Neelima, and Mel.
We are part of a new Wildfire Interdisciplinary Research Center at San José State University that began in 2020. In 2022, our research began in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Promising results led to a grant to expand research to the Sierra Nevada Mountains in summer 2023. We are funded by San José State University and the Wildfire Interdisciplinary Research Center's industry board members. Don't worry though, your privacy is secure with us. As academic researchers, we are required to keep your unique information secure and are not allowed to share it even with our industry funders.
