The documentaries featured on this page are final projects from AAS 01: Introduction to Asian American Studies, where students where students put theory into practice through community-based conversations. They practice relationship-building, active listening, curious inquiry, and storytelling. Each film connects course concepts to real-world experiences, emphasizing ethical storytelling, critical interpretation, and the responsibility that comes with representing others. These projects show how Asian American Studies extends beyond the classroom and into the work of narrative change and social transformation.
