Malika Singh

Malika is a junior majoring in Biological Sciences with a concentration in Molecular Biology. She is interested in pursuing a career in biotechnology or research and looks forward to strengthening her lab skills through working in the Names Lab. She is particularly curious about how the behavior of songbirds is shaped by factors such as disease and climate change. Outside of academics, she enjoys painting and hiking.

Amanda Ramos

Amanda is studying Marine Biology. She is really fond of animals, specifically aquatic organisms, since they are the origin of life and it's fascinating to witness their evolution even in such extreme conditions. In the future, she can see herself working with animals either through research or healthcare. In her spare time, she likes to play video games, read, crochet, or consume literally any type of media.

Sudiksha Aluri

Sudiksha is a sophomore majoring in Biological Sciences with a concentration in Microbiology and pursuing the pre-PA track. Through her research, she hopes to develop valuable lab research skills that can help with advancements in the healthcare field. She has a strong interest in wildlife, and is excited to explore how various factors influence the effects of avian malaria on songbird populations.

Zoie Malveda

Zoie is a Microbiology major pursuing a career in clinical laboratory science. She is interested in studying disease detection and mechanisms, and the Names Lab gives her an opportunity to explore this field of research while also supporting her love for wildlife, particularly birds! Outside of school, she enjoys art, music, and traveling.
