Who I Am
My name is Jose Puga, and I am currently a student at San Jose State University, with my graduation scheduled for Spring 2024. My academic journey is deeply rooted in the fascinating field of mechatronics, a dynamic and interdisciplinary area that seamlessly integrates mechanical and electrical engineering principles. This field's inherent complexity and potential for innovation have captivated my interest and directed my academic and extracurricular endeavors throughout my time at the university.
At San Jose State University, I have committed myself to excel not only academically but also in various extracurricular activities that have enriched my educational experience. This holistic approach to my education has allowed me to develop a comprehensive understanding of the theoretical aspects of my field, as well as practical skills that are critical in real-world applications.
My Technical Skills & PassionsÂ
As a mechatronics student, I have cultivated a diverse and robust skill set that spans across several critical areas. I am proficient in computer-aided design (CAD), which enables me to design and analyze complex mechanical components and systems with precision and efficiency. My expertise in part modeling, detailed drawings, assemblies, and simulation is complemented by a strong foundation in programming languages such as LabVIEW, MATLAB, Python, and C++. This combination of skills allows me to not only envision innovative mechatronic solutions but also bring them to life through advanced algorithms and the ability to control hardware interfaces.
My passion lies in the realm of creating groundbreaking technologies and learning about novel approaches that have the potential to revolutionize our way of life. I am deeply motivated by the prospect of developing technologies that can improve the world, whether by enhancing efficiency, accessibility, or sustainability. My academic and project work is driven by this passion, as I constantly seek to push the boundaries of what is possible in mechatronics to contribute positively to society and the field at large.
