I can be an active group member who participates in group and class discussions.
I can identify and explain various ways in which a student can prepare for different career paths.
Exhibition of the Projects
Gallery "walk" the multimedia projects that have been created.
Go through all of the projects, in the "products." After you have completed the "gallery" walk, respond to at least 2 groups with specific feedback about their product. Be sure to go back and respond to the groups or students who have left comments on your group's product as well.

Design Thinking Discussion
Curious what others have to say?
Interview at least 2 people who are experienced in the field of Mental Health.
Use the questions from the sheet below and record your answers so that we can compare and contrast with one another.
Interview Questions & Responses
Work with your team to analyze and discuss all of the interview findings.
What conclusions do various group analyzers make? How does what you found here compare with what you learned in the multimedia product?
Discuss what you notice. Do you notice any similarities, differences, or connections between age groups? gender? Type of mental health position they were in? How did people respond to your creations?
Connection to Your Peers:
What do we (peers) believe about the ways in which people should cope with stress or anxiety? What does the data tell us?
Use the shared Mental Health Interview Discoveries spreadsheet below to write your thoughts. Make sure you respond to at least one other classmate.
Before starting your discussions, check out this video on how to participate in an effective group discussion!
Mental Health Professional Interview Discoveries
One of our school counselors will be joining in a class discussion of our findings.
Use the information from this unit including the multimedia artifacts to formulate a few questions you might want to ask the counselor.
Consider questions about choosing the right coping mechanisms to deal with stress and anxiety and possible obstacles people commonly experience while working towards relieving this stress and anxiety they are experiencing.
Consider the data from the interviews and ask the counselor for any insights she/he might have about particular coping mechanisms.
Think about issues around high school skills and knowledge that might help you as you work towards strengthening your mental health.
Discuss with your group what additional or new insights your group has after the multimedia artifacts gallery walk, mental health professional interviews, and class discussion with a school counselor.
