Overview

The results section summarizes and presents the findings of the study that the researcher has done. This section presents the data in a logical sequence without bias or interpretation. The results section of a research paper tells the reader what you found, while the discussion section tells the reader what your findings mean.

Findings may be reported in written text, tables, graphs, and other illustrations. The goal of this section is to place the findings in the context of the research question(s).
