This poll is our first chance to see what students may already know about civics, as well as their personal interests.

The teacher-librarian will use this interactive presentation to guide and monitor student progress through a live workshop about research skills and how to get connected to the community.

This form will hold students accountable for completing the hook activity and will allow the adults to assess student progress in building awareness and empathy towards the importance of civic-mindedness.

Students will be invited to share ideas and give feedback to their teachers via Padlet throughout the unit.
