Pre-Workshop Activities

Gather: Please bring the following materials for a Day 1 hands-on activity.

1. Two random unrelated pieces of scrap paper (“unrelated” means not one paper split into two). Anything made out of paper--cardboard, egg cartons, paper towels...etc. can be used. Think of this in terms of species--you want two different species of paper.

2. Two different rocks--if possible. If you don’t have rocks, the paper alone will work just fine.

3. Water. You will need just a few drops of water, so a container with a little water will do.
